Julie Pearl Slater
Founder
Julie has spent a lifetime traveling and much of her professional life in education. This venture came together while guiding her own children through the college process. She believes this journey is an opportunity for students to have agency, choosing not just a college, but a community that will help raise them into adulthood.
Julie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from University of Southern California. She speaks French and has lived in Germany, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles.
Sarah Phelps

Sarah is a certified travel advisor and former producer who brings two decades of experience managing complex, high-touch projects to the world of travel. She specializes in thoughtfully planned, multi-stop itineraries with a focus on comfort, style, and seamless logistics.
A graduate of Rutgers University—where she played Division I field hockey and lacrosse—Sarah also spent a year in graduate school in Portugal. Her favorite destinations include Japan, Italy, Portugal, and anywhere great food and local connection are part of the journey. Based in Los Angeles, Sarah works with clients around the world. Together, we offer a powerful blend of educational insight and premium travel expertise.
